A few months ago I was looking at some new items in Victoria Beckham’s collection Winter 2012/2013. Although I am not a big fan of her line of clothing and design, I noticed an item that caught my eye. So I added it to my “To make” list. It’s a chunky knit hat that looks really oversized but it’s elegant at the same time. I still haven’t tried making it but I thought I’d share it here and see what other people think. I’ve included some photos in addition to the link above. What are your thoughts on this design?

I’m fascinated..I don’t know if I would love it or feel like a bobble head! But it would be interesting to knit!
That’s what I was thinking too. I’m more curious to knit it and see how it turns out. 🙂 It has to be a good chunky yarn though. So I’ll start looking around for some nice quality yarn.

I’ve noticed that big hats, or is it BEEG BEEG hats are really trendy right now, I absolutely love this hat. Where I live, nobody wears hats, it’s such a pity.
Yes, it is a BEEG hat 🙂 I love chunky knits. People sometimes ask me why I am knitting “winter stuff” in the summer. 😀 But there is no season for knitting. It doesn’t mean that if I knit a chunky winter hat, I am going to put it on in the middle of July and go to the beach. 😆
I’m thinking of trying to make this hat. Right now I am looking for the yarn that will best fit the pattern.
