…and I went to the local yarn store while I was camping. You heard about my camping trip without a knitting project in my previous post. My hubby was great when he suggested that he watches the kids and I go the store 🙂 Just to check it out. Well… $59 later I had a whole bunch of gorgeous yarn. The store is called “88 Stitches” and it’s located in Langley, BC. It opened in 2007 and it’s been going strong since then. The shop features beautiful yarns imported and local. It’s also home of a local yarn dyer Sweet Fiber Yarns which was started by the daughter of the owner of 88 Stitches. Needless to say, the yarn is gorgeous! I’ve posted a few pictures from my visit as well as some of the yarn I bought that day. I’ll definitely be going back there. They have great classes and events running all the time. What an excellent contributor to the community!
Ahhhhh, so glad you came to your senses!
😆 😆
I did! 😀
It looks like you found a great LYS in the process. Makes me want to go exploring!
88 Stitches turned out to be a sweet wonderful spot. I’m so happy I went for a visit. And the owners are very kind and friendly. And of course the yarn is exquisite 🙂 Makes me want to open a yarn shop 😀
I hear you on that one!
It’s easy to see why you could not leave without a purchase or two.
I know! 😀 It was impossible. 😀 I’ll be going back for sure 🙂
That looks like so much fun shopping there.
It was 😀 It’s a really nice shop
Nice! What a great find! Happy knitting 🙂
Thank you 🙂
Fun post! This is one of my favorite things to do when we travel is to hit the local yarn shops. To me its the best kind of souvenir shopping! 😀
Thank you 🙂
I couldn’t agree more 😀
