Long time no post

I have been away from my blog for some time.  Life suddenly got really busy and crazy.  I have been knitting and crocheting mostly orders from my Etsy shop.  And I got some of my items included in more treasuries.  I love looking at treasuries.  Beautifully crafted items collected in one place tell a wonderful story.  So inspirational.

One thing that I didn’t get to do this year is do any Christmas knitting for my niece and nephews.  I feel so bad about it because that’s my signature.  And I want them to have gifts that cannot be bought in a store.  They all live far away from me and sending them a knitted gift makes me feel like I am sending them hugs 🙂

The biggest reason I didn’t do any Christmas knitting this year is that this year I have 2 toddlers running around (whereas last year I had 1 toddler and a baby who slept most of the time) 🙂  My boys are growing way too quickly and the baby is now standing up by himself and motoring around the house chasing his big (2-year-old) brother.  So it’s been busy.

Another reason is that I had more orders from my Etsy shop.  So I had to start knitting pretty much immediately after the order came.  Which is great and I am not complaining.  But it does take me away from my “passion knitting”. LOL  What am I saying?!  All my knitting is passion knitting.  Anyway… all reasons are good reasons so everything is ok. 😀
