I need your advice. I finished this cardigan which I was knitting on Christmas lights 🙂 The colours are beautiful and that makes it kind of difficult to choose buttons for it. I am open to suggestions. What do you think?

I’d go with purple which seems to be the dominant colour.
Good choice. I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks!
I saw these buttons on GloriaPatre.com https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/118584578/flower-buttons-decorated-wooden-buttons?ref=shop_home_active_3
Oh these are beautiful. Thanks for the link 🙂
Something nuetral and natural like wood?
Oh I love the idea of wooden buttons. Thanks!
Purple for sure.
2 votes for purple. Nice! 🙂 Thank you 🙂
You could always bring the sweater with you into the store and “audition” buttons until you find the perfect ones. 🙂
I love this idea! I’ll do that. Thank you! 🙂
White!
I’m adding it to my list 🙂 Thank you
How about in the colours of where the button holes occur, say orange and purple
Great idea! Thank you
Different colors or transparent buttons? I’m thinking mother of pearl for a lovely, girly contrast to these beautiful colors.
Great suggestions! Thank you! Putting them on my list 😀
That is a difficult one. In any case you will have to take the piece with you when you are choosing as it you will have to find the right shade. So you might find 100s of purples but not the right one and then you’ ll see just one green one that has the perfect shade. And if that is not happening, I quite like the idea with the wooden ones.
You are so right. There are hundreds of shades. I will bring it with me. I think I’m leaning towards wooden or clear. Hm… we’ll see what works
That turned out so cute. I save the pattern and am giving it a go this year
Gorgeous cardi – I’d choose knitted baubley ones in one of your yarn colours.
Thank you! 🙂
That’s a great idea too. I’ll see if I have any remnants left of this yarn.
