My first official pattern

471882208 (1)Here it is! 🙂  The pattern for the Reflection Cable Headband Cowl is finally finished.  If any of you happen to make this headband cowl following the pattern, please send me your feedback.  I’d love to make improvements and take your recommendations in consideration. Thank you! 🙂

Note: The idea is to twist one cable in one direction and the other cable in the opposite direction.

Very important observation by Cricketfox of Cricket’s Corner of Australia (Thanks for pointing that out!), make sure your yarn is quite loose when knitting the linen stitch.  It can get very tense if you don’t loosen up the yarn.

Repeat rows 1 to 12 until you have your desired length.

Bind off and sew the end and beginning together.

  1. Lovely. WIll bookmark for future use. I have just knitted two pairs of fingerless gloves to my own designs for the first time – may put them on my blog one day!

    • Thank you thank you thank you!!! 😀 I’d love to hear your feedback. And anything you want to correct or doesn’t work, please let me know. I wrote it the way I knit it. So hopefully it’s clear enough and easy to follow. 🙂

  2. Played with it this morning. The only Issue I had was I needed to make sure that my yarn was loose enough when I did the yarn in front or back. other then that. It worked up OK

  3. Great pattern! Thank you!
Will add it to the Patterns on the Knitting for Orphans blog (with links back to your post) working on a ‘ Scarf Patterns post’
