I’m super excited about my Rowan subscription. The gift that came with it is great – a pattern, needles, and yarn for a hat/neck warmer that just looks so cosy. I can’t wait to make it.

Lovely! I am SUCH a Rowan junkie. 🙂 The fall collection? I am in major love with.
What is the yarn? It’s lovely!
Me too! 😀 The yarn is Lima (84% baby alpaca, 8% merino, 8% nylon) It’s fantastic 🙂
ooooh. I LOVE Lima. It’s on my wishlist. (I work at a yarn store one day a week and she carries A LOT of Rowan, including Lima).
You work at a yarn store?!?! That’s my dream! 😀 Beautiful!
hee! Yes. One day a week – and it’s only three miles from my house (which is both awesome and dangerous! lol).
Lol Perfect!
That makes me want to give it a try 😉
You should! Warning though… it’s addictive 😉 In a good way 😉
I loooove Rowan. I’m so envious right now (the good kind). What are you planning on making with that?
🙂 They sent me a pattern for a hat/neck warmer so I can’t wait to make it 🙂 Ahhh I need time 😀
That hat/ neck warmer looks amazing!
Doesn’t it!?! I love it!
Can’t wait to see what you make. Their patterns and yarns are luscious.
Yes! I’ll start with the hat/neck warmer and go from there 😀
cant wait to see how it works up
Me too. I already figured that I want to use a circle needle rather than 2 needles and have a seam. The pattern says to make a seam but I like it better when it’s flawless 😉
Lovely things!
Super exciting 🙂

I love Rowan. One of the sweaters I knitted was a Rowan recipe (for want of a better word.) I must knit that hat as mine is looking a little sad. It is gorgeous and your blog is fantastic. I’ll have to dedicate some time to reading through all your posts. It may take me a while.
Thank you so much for the sweet words. 🙂 Let me know how the hat turns out if you end up making it 🙂 I love your blog too. We seem to have lots of interests in common 🙂
