Baby Hooded Sweater

I’ve been looking for a pattern for a baby sweater that fits all genders for a very long time. I wanted something easy to put on and take off, seamless, warm, airy, and super comfy. It’s taken me literally years to find a pattern I liked. Well… the search is over. I love love love this pattern of a Seamless Baby Hooded Pullover. It’s such a great pleasure to knit. I couldn’t put it down. It took me 3 days to finish the whole thing and now I want to start knitting another one 😀

I had this beautiful Martha Stewart Crafts yarn – extra soft wool blend 65% acrylic and 35% wool in Winter Sky colour. I will be placing an order for more of this yarn because it’s fantastic. It’s amazingly soft and cosy but airy. I knit this sweater in 30*C (86*F) and I did not feel hot once. Love this yarn.

I wish my boys were still babies so I could try this sweater on them 😀

*This sweater is now available in my Etsy shop.

I’m also trying to start up a blog for an etsy shop for baby clothes and toys , do you have any suggestions or advice on how to make a blog successful?

    • Aw thank you 🙂 I like these buttons too. 🙂
Congrats on deciding to start an Etsy shop and a blog. One thing I’ve learned is that it takes time to build a following on a blog so don’t get discouraged if you don’t get many followers at first. It’s normal.
Also, do some research on popular key words/tags that will give you a good exposure to your target audience.
And another important thing is make sure you post regularly. Even if it’s just a photo with a few words. Search engines look for fresh content so make sure you post often 🙂
Good luck!! Let me know when it’s up and running and I’ll be your follower 🙂
