If it walks like a cable… wait… it doesn’t walk, but it certainly looks like a cable 😀 The pattern looks like you’re knitting cables, but you’re not. It’s just a play of Knit and Purl stitches that make it look like a cable. 🙂 Pretty cool, eh?
This pattern is beautiful. I couldn’t wait to use it in a knit hat for myself. It turned out great. It takes a bit of attention to the stitches and some counting but it’s so worth it. The pattern has two options – one with a folding edge and one without. I chose the one without because I didn’t have enough yarn for a longer edge. It was a skein I had bought some time ago and I had used a little bit from it to finish a sweater. So it wasn’t even a full skein. But it still turned out great. I look forward to wearing it to my next hiking trip 🙂
